Introduction to Perinatal Mental Health will be presented by Alicia Schuster-Couch, LPC, PMH-C from New Leaf Counseling Services.

  1. Explore the difference between “Baby Blues” and a Perinatal Mood or Anxiety Disorder (PMAD) and the types of mental illness that impact the perinatal population.

  2. Examine risk factors and causes and explore how PMADs impact partners and family

  3.  Learn about screening tools and treatment modalities

Refund Requests:

Refunds for paid trainings will be approved if written request is received five days prior to the scheduled training. Refunds will be given, minus an administrative fee (25% of registration fee). All refund requests must be submitted in writing to info@newleaftnvalley.com. No refunds will be given if request is received less than five days prior to scheduled training. If a participant fails to attend training, no refund will be issued.
