My name is Alicia Schuster-Couch and I offer counseling services to clients who believe that they have the capacity to solve their own problems with my assistance.  Within this approach, we will work together as equals, with any problems you choose to bring into therapy with the goal of getting back on the path toward greater growth.  Throughout our collaborative process, I will provide clarification, encouragement, and interpretations to facilitate your movement toward your goals.

I use a variety of methods during therapy sessions that provide an integrative approach to counseling.  I offer a supportive, non-judgmental, collaborative, and safe space for you to discuss and evaluate your problems.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (Alabama License number: 3906).  I hold a Master's degree in Professional Counseling from Texas State University and two Bachelor's degrees in Social Work and Women's Studies from New Mexico State University. I am also a certified Perinatal Mental Health Provider (PMH-C).

My name is Laura Boothe and I offer counseling services to clients desiring a non-judgmental and collaborative space offering understanding and support for mental health, relational and life issues. I strive to provide a warm, safe, and accepting setting where we can work together to cultivate your inherent strengths to create movement toward your individual goals.

Some of our greatest joys and deepest griefs happen in our relationships with ourselves and with others. And healing can also happen in the context of relationships.  I offer a client centered, attachment–based and a wholistic approach to counseling, utilizing, and teaching different skills to work with you on your journey.

I am an Associate Licensed Counselor ( AL license #  C3766A ) under the supervision of Stacie Scherer at Serenity Counseling (AL license # 833).  I hold a master’s degree in clinical Mental Health Counseling from Richmont Graduate University in Chattanooga, TN.  And a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Cedarville University in Ohio. I am certified in Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders and in training for Gottman Method Level 1 training.

I primarily meet with adults experiencing: Depression, anxiety, grief/loss, codependency, divorce, co-parenting, family conflict, life transitions, betrayal trauma, and spiritual trauma.

My name is Jo Lauren Weaver and I offer counseling services to clients who are ready to embark on a journey of self-rediscovery. I empower my clients to explore their past, enhance their present, and embrace their future. We will foster a relationship built on trust and mutual respect in a nonjudgmental, transparent environment. My mission is to provide a safe space for all regardless of age, race, ethnicity, religious affiliation, gender identification, sexual orientation, or economic status.

Together, we will create a personalized plan that best meets your needs, and you will leave with an arsenal of tools to use outside our sessions. My ultimate goal for each client is holistic wellness. In other words, we will be examining multiple facets of your life- relational, emotional, physical, and spiritual health- in conjunction with your reason for coming to therapy. We will work to address your why as well as fine tune the other parts while we’re at it. I am humbled and honored to take this journey with you.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (AL license # 4413). I am also an Assistant Professor at Alabama A&M University. Additionally, I am a Registered Yoga Instructor (RYT-200) and am obtaining my meditation teacher training this fall.
